Teens are dumb
It’s not their fault.
They must have fun
And then get caught.
Though parents do
The best they can;
They don’t know how,
Or where or when
To just say no
Or that’s enough!
The kid just laughs
And says that’s tough!
While fathers tend
To say just wait;
What future holds
Depends on fate.
The mothers’ woe
Is so much worse.
She cries all day
And wants to curse.
It seems all you
Can do is laugh.
And as they say,
This too shall pass.
