The last of the trinkets
Removed from the tree
Now towering naked
It’s finally set free.
Lights of all color seem
Garish at best.
Purging the excess
Of this lovely nest.
Revealing a clarity
That brings a new start
Of a hopeful unveiling
Or a glimpse of the heart.
